October 8-9’s Cooking & Home Entertaining Showcase to Include Bounty of the County Specialty Pavilion Featuring Local Farm Fresh Produce, Meats, Seafood, Cheeses & Dairy

The Gourmet Experience, a two-day cooking and home entertainment showcase, introduces the Bounty of the County Pavilion, one of 12 new specialty pavilions featured in the show this October 8-9, 2011 in Del Mar, California. The specialty pavilion taps into our community of locavores and showcases San Diego County’s community artisans and purveyors of farm fresh produce, meats, cheeses and dairy, said Michelle Metter, co-producer of The Gourmet Experience.

“This year’s specialty pavilions give attendees a chance to discover the latest in new products, cooking solutions, and entertaining while connecting with hundreds of today’s leading and emerging gourmet and culinary brands,” said Metter. “Trade and consumer gourmet enthusiasts have the rare opportunity to taste, test out and get a first-hand peak at these trends and innovations, all within the span of a weekend.”

The Gourmet Experience connects chefs, restaurateurs, gourmet retailers, consumer enthusiasts and bloggers with today’s leading gourmet brands to source for new products and ideas to help drive their business and fuel their passions. The regional tradeshow caters to restaurants, catering companies, specialty shops and retailers who sell to the everyday gourmand. Over the course of two days, members of the trade and consumer enthusiasts have the opportunity to preview a selection of products from all spectrum of the gourmet marketplace.

Attendees at The Gourmet Experience will enjoy these additional expo highlights:
